Charleston Insulation Company provides residential and commercial insulation services in Charleston, WV and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and insulation removal.
All services are subject to a site assessment, availability, and a mutually agreed written estimate. We do not guarantee same-day service and we reserve the right to decline any project that we determine is outside our scope of expertise or that presents safety or liability concerns.
Estimates provided by Charleston Insulation Company are based on information available at the time of the on-site assessment. A written estimate is not a binding contract until both parties have signed a formal service agreement.
Prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes after the initial estimate. If we discover additional issues during the project that affect pricing, we will notify you before proceeding. We will not perform work beyond the original scope without your authorization.
Estimates expire 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will make reasonable efforts to honor scheduled times, but we may need to reschedule due to weather, crew availability, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as promptly as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a scheduling fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
Payment terms are outlined in the written service agreement provided before work begins. Payment is generally due upon completion of the project unless alternative terms have been agreed to in writing.
For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work begins. The deposit amount will be stated in the service agreement. Deposits are non-refundable if the customer cancels after materials have been ordered or work has begun.
Unpaid balances beyond the due date stated in the service agreement may be subject to interest charges and collection action. In the event of a dispute over payment, the customer agrees to notify us in writing before withholding payment.
You agree to provide accurate information about your property and the service requested. You are responsible for clearing work areas before our crew arrives, as described in any preparation instructions we provide. Failure to prepare the work area may result in rescheduling or additional charges.
You agree to ensure that all people and pets are out of the affected areas during installation and for any re-entry period specified by our crew. You acknowledge that insulation installation materials require adequate ventilation and that our crew will provide specific instructions for your project.
Charleston Insulation Company warrants that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner using materials that meet or exceed industry standards. Any specific warranty terms will be stated in the written service agreement.
Except as expressly stated in a written service agreement, all services are provided "as is." We make no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability, beyond what is required by applicable law.
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by customer modification of completed work, water intrusion from sources unrelated to the installed insulation, or other conditions outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charleston Insulation Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services or this website. Our total liability for any claim related to services performed shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions in your property that were not disclosed at the time of the estimate and that affect our ability to complete the work as planned.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use this site to transmit harmful, unlawful, or fraudulent content. All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Charleston Insulation Company and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
If a dispute arises between you and Charleston Insulation Company related to our services, we encourage you to contact us directly first to resolve the issue. Most problems can be addressed quickly when both parties communicate clearly.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, the parties agree to attempt to resolve it through mediation before initiating any legal action. If mediation is unsuccessful, any legal action shall be brought in the appropriate court in Charleston County, WV.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings relating to these terms or our services shall be conducted in West Virginia.
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
