Charleston Insulation Company was founded in 2025 by a team of insulation professionals who grew up in West Virginia and saw firsthand how much energy Charleston-area homes were wasting. The city has a lot of older housing stock - homes built in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s that were never insulated to modern standards. Those homes get cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and their owners pay more in energy bills every single month than they should.
Charleston sits in a river valley where humidity is a constant pressure on homes.
